Rewatch

The live action footage is much rougher than I remember it being.  Clearly made on a set and with a slightly limited live action budget makes for a tough start but once it gets to the stop motion animation, the movie becomes the fun fantasy film I remember liking when I was younger. Still beautiful and the songs are good too.

Rewatch

Hilarious and delightfully weird, A Town Called Panic utilizes a wacky stop motion animated style to tell an acid trip journey of 3 plastic figurines. Alternate water worlds, birthday brick parties and marathon dance sessions, there is enough here to keep your attention and beg for more.
